High-speed USB 2.0 Technology The Fast Track Ultra 8R utilizes high-speed USB 2.0 technology to deliver the bandwidth for 24-bit/96kHz audio resolution throughout the recording and monitoring process. Its reliable, low-latency M-Audio drivers and compatibility with most major recording software allows you to put the Fast Track Ultra 8R at the core of your powerful project studio in a single rack-mount unit. It also delivers flexible routing and monitoring with delay and reverb. The onboard MX Core DSP mixer processes eight hardware inputs and eight software returns to the eight hardware outputs, expanding the total I/O to an impressive 16 x 8 configuration. Record drum kits and full bands on all eight inputs simultaneously in 24-bit/96kHz fidelity. Is this your experience with Win 10 and do you have any other thoughts or comments? Thanks.High-speed 8 x 8 USB 2.0 audio interface with 8 Octane preamps and MX Core DSPĭesigned for comprehensive studio work, the Fast Track Ultra 8R audio/MIDI interface delivers 8 x 8 I/O, high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity, MX Core DSP mixing/effects, and eight preamps with award-winning Octane technology. This is different from the default playback device which it looks like can be set from the list you get just by clicking the icon in the system tray. This is more of a Win 10 question: The fast track shows up in the playback devices - besides the various line out pairs, there's one that just says "Speakers Fast Track Ultra" and is set as the Default communications device. Are other interfaces of this age also not supported on Win 10, or just some, or just this one?ģ. Anyone with experience with these devices aware of any issues with bad jacks?Ģ. But, I am only getting one channel which I think is a failure of the output jack - the control panel mixer does show signal on both channels.ġ. I ran test using iTunes and it seems to only work when choosing Line outs 1/2 as the default audio device. I have a FSU USB and installed the latest drivers, 6.1.10.

I have a similar dilemma but my Win 10 does see the device and works, but not consistently.
